Two different places your data can live
Wars of Ozz works without an account. If you never sign in, everything stays on your device and in your own Google Drive, and there is nothing on our servers to remove. If you did sign in to Guild Hall with Apple, Google or Discord, you have a Guild Hall account and we do hold data for you. Both cases are covered below.
On your device and in your Google Drive
Army lists, saved rosters and game content are stored on your device. Army backups, if you turned them on, live only in your own Google Drive in a private app-only folder that we cannot read.
- Revoke the app's access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Uninstall the app to clear any data stored on your device.
Your Guild Hall account
If you signed in, Guild Hall holds your email, display name, and anything you chose to add: your Player Finder listing (zipcode, country and contact handles), club memberships, and events you organised. The fastest way to remove it is from inside the app.
- Open Settings in the app.
- Scroll to Delete Account and confirm.
This clears your profile, removes you from the Player Finder, and disconnects your sign-in providers. Your account record itself is anonymised rather than deleted outright, because other people's clubs and events reference it and dropping it would corrupt their records. Once anonymised it holds no information that identifies you.
