Data Deletion — Wars of Ozz Army Builder
Last updated: June 9, 2026
Wars of Ozz Army Builder stores no personal data on Tinkavu LLC's servers. All user data — your army lists and your Google account identity — lives either on your device or in your own Google Drive account. This means you can delete everything yourself, without filing a request with us.
The store-required removal page at https://ddguildhall.com/remove-my-information will guide you through the same steps and confirm there is nothing server-side for us to delete on your behalf.
What Data Exists and Where
| Data | Where it lives | Who controls it |
|---|---|---|
| Army lists (local) | Your device — SQLite via WatermelonDB | You |
| Army list backup files | Your Google Drive appDataFolder (hidden from regular Drive view) | You |
| Google OAuth sign-in state (email, token) | Your device — AsyncStorage | You |
| Game data (factions, units, rules) | Tinkavu LLC's Firebase Firestore — read-only, not linked to your identity | Tinkavu LLC |
| Personal data on Tinkavu LLC's servers | None | N/A |
Because Firestore reads are anonymous (you are not authenticated to Firebase), no personally identifying information is ever stored in our Firestore project in connection with your use of the App.
Step 1 — Wipe Your Google Drive Backups (do this before uninstalling)
If you ever connected Google Drive for army-list backup, your army files are stored in a hidden app-only folder called appDataFolder in your Google Drive. This folder is not visible in the regular Google Drive web interface, but the files are associated with your Google account.
Option A — Delete all backup files from within the App
This is the most thorough method: it deletes the actual files from your Drive before revoking access.
- Open the App.
- Go to Settings (gear icon in the top-right corner).
- Scroll to Drive Backup.
- Tap Wipe Cloud Backups.
- Confirm the prompt. The App will delete every army backup file from your
appDataFolder.
Option B — Revoke Drive access at Google Account Permissions
This prevents the App from accessing your Drive in the future. Note: revoking access alone does not delete files already written to appDataFolder; use Option A first if you want to ensure the files are removed.
- Visit myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Find "Wars of Ozz Army Builder" in the list of connected applications.
- Tap Remove Access.
Revoking access takes effect immediately. The App will no longer be able to read or write to your Drive.
Option C — Delete hidden app data via Google Drive Settings
Google Drive provides a way to disconnect apps and optionally delete their hidden data:
- Go to drive.google.com.
- Click the Settings gear icon → Settings → Manage Apps (or visit drive.google.com/drive/settings).
- Find "Wars of Ozz Army Builder" in the app list.
- Click Options → Delete hidden app data.
- Confirm deletion. Then click Disconnect from Drive.
This is the most complete self-service removal path: it deletes the files and revokes access in one flow.
Step 2 — Delete Local Army Data and Uninstall
Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored army lists, preferences, and sign-in state from your device.
- Android: Settings → Apps → Wars of Ozz Army Builder → Uninstall.
- iOS (if applicable): Long-press the App icon → Remove App → Delete App.
If you want to remove only local data without uninstalling, you can clear the App's storage via device settings:
- Android: Settings → Apps → Wars of Ozz Army Builder → Storage → Clear Data.
No Server-Side Data to Delete
Because Wars of Ozz Army Builder does not create user accounts and does not store any personal information on Tinkavu LLC's servers, there is no server-side deletion request required. The App reads game content (units, factions, rules) from our Firebase Firestore project anonymously — no identifying information is ever stored in connection with those reads.
What the /remove-my-information page does for this App
The verified web removal flow at https://ddguildhall.com/remove-my-information accepts a request, confirms your identity via email verification, and then:
- Confirms that no server-side data exists for your email address in any Tinkavu LLC system for this App.
- Provides a direct link to myaccount.google.com/permissions so you can revoke Drive access.
- Provides the Google Drive Manage Apps link so you can delete any
appDataFolderfiles.
It does not execute any server-side deletion on your behalf, because there is nothing to delete from our infrastructure.
