Data Deletion & Account Removal — Mobile Hangar

You can remove your personal data from Mobile Hangar at any time. Because most data lives locally on your device or in an app-private area of your Google Drive, you are in direct control of most of it.

We will confirm completion of all server-side deletion requests within 30 days (or sooner as required by applicable law).

Step 1 — Delete Local Data

Uninstall the App from your device. This removes the local SQLite database containing your collection, decks, wishlists, and preferences entirely.

  • iOS: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Mobile Hangar → Delete App.
  • Android: Settings → Apps → Mobile Hangar → Uninstall.

Alternatively, you can clear the app's local data without uninstalling:

  • iOS: Delete the App as above, then reinstall from the App Store.
  • Android: Settings → Apps → Mobile Hangar → Storage → Clear Data.

Step 2 — Remove Your Google Drive Backup (appDataFolder)

Important: The App stores backups in Google Drive's appDataFolder — a hidden, app-private storage scope. There is no visible "Mobile Hangar" folder in your Google Drive that you can browse or delete manually. The backup data cannot be deleted from within the Google Drive interface.

To delete this backup data, you must revoke Mobile Hangar's access to your Google account:

  1. Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions (sign in if prompted).
  2. Find Mobile Hangar (or "Extra Turn Games — Mobile Hangar") in the list of apps with access.
  3. Click Remove Access (or "Revoke").

Revoking access immediately prevents further backup writes. Google will delete the app's stored data from your appDataFolder according to Google's own retention schedule (typically within a short period after revocation). You will not be able to restore backups to a new device after revoking access.

If you also want to disconnect the Google account used for sign-in, sign out of the App first before revoking access.


Step 3 — Request Deletion of Firebase Account & Bug Reports

Your Firebase Authentication account record and any bug reports or feature requests you submitted are stored on servers we control. To request deletion:

Email: privacy@extraturngames.com Subject: Data Deletion Request — Mobile Hangar Include: The email address associated with your Google or Apple account.

We will:

  • Delete your Firebase Authentication account record.
  • Delete any associated Firestore documents (bug reports, feature requests).
  • Confirm completion by reply email.

Timeline: We will complete deletion and confirm within 30 days of a verified request (or sooner as required by applicable law — e.g., 15 business days under CCPA, or 30 days under GDPR).

Verified Web Request: You may also submit a deletion request through our verified self-service flow at https://https://ddguildhall.com/remove-my-information. This flow requires email verification and selects the Mobile Hangar app before deletion is executed server-side.


Step 4 — Cancel Your Subscription

Canceling your subscription ends the billing relationship with Apple or Google. It does not automatically delete your data — follow the steps above for data deletion.

  • iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Mobile Hangar Pro → Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → Mobile Hangar Pro → Cancel.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Note on RevenueCat: RevenueCat retains subscription records (purchase receipts, platform transaction IDs, Firebase UID) per their own data-retention policy. To request deletion of RevenueCat records, contact RevenueCat directly at support.revenuecat.com or as described in the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.


Opt Out of Ads Without Deleting Your Account

If you want to stop seeing ads without deleting your account, upgrade to Mobile Hangar Pro. The Pro tier removes all advertising and stops AdMob from accessing the Advertising ID on your device through the App.
